About this course
After a few years, the need for faster networks exceeded the capabilities of 10BASE-T. In computing, bandwidth is always important. While 10-Mbps was considered high-speed when 10BASE-T was developed, it wasn't long before users demanded even faster connections, even with switching. In this course, we will explore how Ethernet has improved since the creation of 10BASE-T. We will cover 100-megabit and Gigabit Ethernet standards and conclude with an overview of standards that surpass Gigabit speeds.
